Some nights consist of the same thing over and over and over and over. Who doesn't love Pinterest right? Well that is where I seem to go when I am having an off night and need ideas. It has other great crafting ideas, things for the home, and fashion as well but I do have to say you put in one word for your ingredient and all these dishes show up!
So I had chicken and potatoes and I found a honey garlic chicken and chicken broth potatoes. I went by the recipe but added a little extra of these ingredients and made it my own.
GARLIC HONEY CHICKEN
4 boneless chicken breasts
3 cloves of diced garlic
3 eggs
flour
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup of soy sauce
salt
pepper
basil
oregano
1 tblspn of flour (you are supposed to use cornstarch)
1/4 cup of water
veg oil
Start by cutting your chicken in half and pounding it out into cutlets. Then fire up a frying pan with oil. Mix up the eggs and add flour into a bowl adding the salt, pepper, and seasonings. While that is warming up, get a sauce pan and on medium heat add the honey ( i used regular honey and molasses honey) and then add the water and the soy sauce. I ended up using 1/2 cup of soy sauce instead of 1/4. Then add in the diced garlic and flour/cornstarch until it thickens and remove from the heat. Then dredge the chicken in flour and then into the egg then into the oil. Once it is browned remove and put into a pan. Once all the chicken is done, pour the honey/soy mixture over it and let it sit.

Peel 5-6 potatoes and then make a chicken broth with bouillion. Put the potatoes in the 8x8 pan and pour the broth just barely in the bottom. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, on top and then put thing slices of butter on top and cover with foil and bake on 350 for an hour and a half. Then come out nice and soft and moist!
